The Problem
One of our customers, a manufacturer of agricultural machinery, was facing a major technical challenge: finding a large-diameter hose suitable for the conveyance of hot air.
The conventional hoses previously used tended to collapse or deform, compromising the correct operation of the system.
A solution was needed that could withstand high temperatures, featuring a spiral-reinforced structure capable of maintaining its shape even under the most demanding operating conditions.
The Solution
The key insight was to look beyond the agricultural sector and consider a product normally used in a different field: the marine industry.
Our Water Intake SP proved to be the winning choice. Thanks to its reinforced spiral structure, it can reach large diameters while ensuring strength, stability and reliability, even during the continuous flow of hot air.
An unconventional solution, yet perfectly aligned with the customer’s application requirements.
