The Problem
A major tractor manufacturer came to us with a recurring issue: silicone hoses in the engine compartment were developing cracks and cuts on a regular basis. The intense vibrations generated by the engine, combined with the thermal expansion cycles during operation, made standard clamps a critical failure point. The localised pressure they applied caused progressive hose deterioration, forcing the customer to replace them approximately every six months.
The Solution
We proposed our STS constant-tension clamps. Unlike standard clamps, STS maintains uniform pressure on the hose regardless of temperature variations and vibrations. The results were immediate: longer hose service life, no more cuts or cracks, lower operating costs.
