In the atomizer and seeder manufacturing sector, the choice of materials for components is crucial to ensure optimal performance and durability.
The problem
One of our clients, an atomizer and seeder manufacturer, encountered a technical difficulty: standard PVC hoses were too lightweight and easily deformed at points of tight curvature, compromising the proper functioning of the atomizer. This issue called for a custom solution that could maintain the necessary flexibility without sacrificing strength and reliability.
The solution
To address this challenge, we developed an innovative and non-standard solution by combining two materials with complementary properties: PVC and polyurethane. This combination allowed us to leverage the advantages of both polymers, resulting in a hose that is more resistant yet flexible enough to maintain its shape even at sharp bends. The result was a highly performant product that met the client’s needs, improving the efficiency and durability of the both systems.
Thanks to this innovative solution, we were able to overcome a critical issue that was compromising the performance of our atomizers and seeders. The new - Cordflex Air Mix hose- perfectly combines strength and flexibility, significantly enhancing the performance of our products.
